This makes now my second game in my library doing the exact same thing.yours and Osiris New Dawn both do exactly the same thing and I cannot get either game to work at all.the only difference was Osiris was working originally about a year or two ago when I was playing it.but stopped and then had to reinstall after I had uninstalled it after I stopped playing.now it will not do anything and behaves exactly as Ylands does. If I cannot even get the game to run, there is no reason to waste my money on this in Steam. I have to literally restart the computer in order to get it back. I can hear sounds in the background but my computer is as dead as it gets.I keep trying to bypass in order to gain control but get no response. What I get is this: I click on the play takes a few seconds to load up and then for the briefest of seconds I see the Main Menu (a pixelated picture of Islands) and after the brief second or so, the screen turns black and you no longer can do anything. *I have already found a way to save Level files.Updated NVidia to the newest version before I restarted it again. The auto-save is in case that server crashes so players don't loose their progress. I think he fixed that with latest update. Nelson removed Hawaii and many assets needed by other maps went missing. Hi there, sorry about that but this was a mess by the game itself and not the server's. Sorry for so many words but thank you for reading.

Whats the advantage of saving every 30 minutes if there is no way to restore? In fact, its very very possible the wipes are caused by glitches during the save process (I run a private Unturned server that has been up for 2 years as well, Ive seen a few errors from both the player and admin perspective) Consider reducing the number of saves per day and having a once a day or every other day save file that can be rebooted to save players work. I would suggest - save a back up once a day? That way some progress might be lost but the player base can recover and not face a total loss.

I don't want to discourage anyone but its something to be aware of if you plan to play here I have stopped playing on Leo servers just because I lack the confidence this wont happen again. so all the work I and others put in was completely wiped. Ive built up two bases that took days of game time only to see them poof in the blink of an eye (I was online when it happened once) Contacted Leo through Discord and was told there is no back up save that can be rolled back to. These were not scheduled wipes and Leo acknowledged there was some glitch. Twice now in the last month, once on EU Germany and once on US Washington, there has been a failure where all your buildables disappear and if you aren't online when it happens, anything you have stored will be gone too. A true vanilla experience with support.Īn issue I have and would warn others to consider before investing a lot of time here. Originally posted by Zip141:First off, let me say LGS servers are well run, they never disappear on you, and Leo makes himself pretty accessible to questions/concerns. *Btw3: My servers are hosted at high quality dedicated machines and the popularity of them speaks for itself. *Btw2: aren't you the guy that proposed me to add my servers at your bs "franchise" system and I refused ?

*Btw I always warn players before a wipe except if the server is totally broken or at exceptional conditions which rarely occur.

Unfortunately with the cheaters this can't be applied on free servers. And servers don't "appear" less laggy, they ARE less laggy. The change you mentioned has been removed over a year ago. I don't make votes, I know when it's time to wipe a dead, laggy server.Ģ. That was very manipulative of you to allow hackers free reign over your servers just to attract more players, without even warning players that you disabled such mechanics. Otherwise I enjoyed the hackers whom exploited your servers because you decided to cheat the system by disabling the built-in authentication physics anti-cheat so your servers would appear less laggy. And thanks for wiping everyones progress with no thought, vote, or anything involved for us.
